I provided diagnostic and upon arrival and inspection of pump found that nipple connected to discharge drain line had broken off. Replaced pump after getting approval to lower cost. After installation of pump primed by filling with water. Pump operated under manufacturer specs. At time of departure system operating normally
I found the noise the customer had called about was caused by the inducer motor starting to go out. I cleaned and oiled the motor in an attempt to help it perform better. Inducer motor is still going out. I advised customer to replace inducer motor and quoted them a price. Customer will think about it and call if they want to replace.
